The Jackson Wild Media Lab (JWML) is an immersive, cross-disciplinary science filmmaking workshop that brings scientists and media creators together to learn from leaders in the profession and work together to develop effective tools to communicate about science, nature and conservation with diverse audiences across the world’s evolving media platforms.
We are thrilled to announce the launch of the 2023 Jackson Wild Media Lab. Due to the nature of travel, cost inflation, and other unforeseen variables, we will only be accepting applications this year from a limited North American region (Canada, Caribbean, Mexico, and USA). We are excited to see the diverse range of stories and perspectives that will be presented at this year's Media Lab, and we look forward to hearing from all of our applicants.
Applicants should expect to lift equipment (cameras, tripods, lighting gear, etc) and walk up to 2km or more, but accommodations can be made if necessary. Let the Jackson Wild Media Lab team know of any concerns or limitations during the application process.
Please email medialab@jacksonwild.org with any questions.
