Welcome! Below you will see all of Jackson Wild's open program applications.
- You will need to create a free Submittable account or sign in with Google or Facebook credentials to submit.
- Submittable works best on Google Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. Internet Explorer is not supported. Please make sure you are using a supported browser.
- You can save a draft of your work if you would like to finish filling out the form at a later date. However, sometimes Submittable can time out without your work being saved. It is recommended that you keep a backup of your answers in a separate document. Save early and often.
- Once you submit your application, we cannot accept updated materials.
- We do our best to follow up with all applicants 2-4 weeks before the start of any given program. Please be sure to safelist notification emails from Submittable and check the email you used to sign up for your Submittable Account regularly.

Please complete the application form to apply to serve as a preliminary judge for the 2024 Jackson Wild Media Awards. The information you provide on your Application Form will be used for all of Jackson Wild's judging needs.
First round judging assignments will run from mid-May to mid-June with the opportunity to extend through July for our second round judging. Preliminary judging assignments are reviewed on the Submittable platform. The greatest need is for judges willing to review 20 hours of films over the course of approximately 3 weeks throughout the months of May & June. Thank you for your interest in the 2024 Jackson Wild Media Awards. Considered the highest bar of achievement in natural history filmmaking, the Jackson Wild Media Awards celebrate excellence and innovation in nature, science, and conservation storytelling.
Film Submission Guidelines:
Any film completed after June 1st, 2023 prominently featuring science, wildlife or nature conservation is eligible to enter. Submissions in all languages are welcomed, although programs in a language other than English must be subtitled in English for presentation to the judges.

- Deadline to enter is May 15th
- Finalists will be announced in July
- Winners will be announced in September of 2024 - details to come!
